I for one do not like fruitcake. Actually I've never tried it. I'm not a fan of desserts with fruits baked in to them or filled with fruits (with the exception of apple pies or apple danish). I can remember as a little girl, my grandmother always had fruitcake in her house. I don't know if she made it herself or if she bought it from the store. It just looks gross to me. (Sorry to those who like fruitcake).

Aggy,, my DH likes it.. but I get cold chills and a full body shiver at just the thought of it.... ewwww.
But I must say they are pretty to look at and make wonderful door stops !!! LOL
I love fruitcake when it is smothered in brandy custard and lashings of whipped cream! That is the only way I will eat it!
